Overview
With the integration of Organiseme with Google Task all Organiseme task lists with all tasks are synchronized to Google Task. So you can also manage your Organiseme tasks within Google Task while working in Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides - and all other Gmail applications. You can edit tasks in Google Task or mark them as complete - all changes will be synchronized to Organiseme. You can even create new tasks - also they will automatically be added in Organiseme. In the following the options to create a new task in Google Task are described. Details how to edit an existing task are described here. Initiate task creation
In order to create a new task first select in Google Task the Organiseme task list in which the task should be created. Then click on "Add a task". ![]() Enter task description
Then a new task field appears where you can directly enter the task description. ![]() Now the task is already created in the task list, just consisting of the task description. ![]() Add further information
In order to add further information to the task, like a due date or a note (called details in Google Task) just click on the pencil icon. ![]() Then the task will be displayed in edit mode. ![]() Add task note
When you want to add further information to the task just click in the Add details field and enter the information. This information will be transferred into the task note in Organiseme. ![]() When you close the edit mode and go back to the task list the note / details will be - at least partially - displayed. ![]() Add due date
For adding a due date to a task click on the pencil icon. ![]() In the edit mode please click on Add date/time. ![]() Then a calendar will be displayed where the due date can be selected. There is also the option to set a time on the due date. Yet please be aware that the due time is not synchronized to Orgraniseme since this is not offered by Google. As a result, the due time is overwritten with the next automatic synchronization from Organiseme - latest after 10 minutes. .![]() After closing the calendar the just selected due date will be displayed in the editing mode. ![]() And also within the task when viewing the task list. ![]() New task automatically created in Organiseme
All the tasks that are created in Google Task within task lists that have been synchronized from Organiseme are automatically created in Organiseme. As shown in the example the two tasks are created in an Organiseme task list (Project) with a task description. Also the due date and the task details - into the task note field - have been transferred from Google Task to Organiseme. ![]() With this integration of Google Task with Organiseme you can work within Google Tasks when working in your favorite G Suite application, like Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheet, etc.. In the background all your tasks are automatically synchronized to Organiseme, so that you can manage your tasks with the full functionality of Organiseme, like assigning tasks to contacts or team members, or woking on a Kanban-style board that can be even shared within your team. We hope you like our integration with Google Task and that it supports you to be productive! |
