Introduction
You can specify what happens with your completed tasks. Should they be either deleted or should they become archived, so that you can re-use a task when you need to do the same task later again. Once you complete a task, the task is displayed as completed - the task description is strikked through and the font color is lighter. After a duration specified by you in the settings completed tasks are then not displayed anymore in the different views. In case you specified that completed tasks should be deleted the task is not accessible anymore. In case you defined that a task should be moved to the archive you can reuse the task later. Specify requirement in settings
In the settings, within the site page, there is a section for the handling of completed tasks. In the upper part you can specify whether a completed task will be deleted or archived. ![]() In the lower part you can specify after which time duration a task will be deleted or archived after you have completed a task:
Once a task is marked as completed the tasks will be still displayed as completed for the duration specified above. When the time passed the task will not be displayed anymore in the different views. Archive
When you specified in the settings that completed tasks should be archived a new entry 'Archive' will be displayed in the main menu on the left. In order to access the archived tasks you need to click on this entry. ![]() Archived tasks keep the task description, priority, notes and attachments of the original task. Due date and / or reminders of the original task are not assumed. Archived tasks can not be edited. In order to reactivate an archived task you need to click on the "Re-use" button on the right. Then a pop-up menu appears, where you need to select the task list the task should be assigned to. Afterwards the task is part of this task list and can be edited like any other task in the responsiblity of the user. With this archive feature you have the opportunity to store tasks for later user and thus reducing the efforts to enter new tasks again and again. In case you have to perform tasks that are recurring with fix durations Organiseme also offers the creation of recurring tasks. |
