Synchronization to Tasks
With the integration of Organiseme with Google Task all Organiseme task lists with all tasks are synchronized to Google Task. So you can also manage your Organiseme tasks within Google Task while working in Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides - and all other Gmail applications. You can edit tasks in Google Task or mark them as complete - all changes will be synchronized to Organiseme. You can even create new tasks - also they will automatically be added in Organiseme. In the following the options to edit an Organiseme task in Google Task are described. Details how to add a new task are described here. ![]() Organiseme task lists in Google Task
All of your tasks lists in Organiseme (Point 1) are also created in Google Tasks. Also shared task lists are created in Google Task as normal task lists. Please be aware that the default task lists in Google Task (Point 2) cannot be deleted. Only tasks added or edited in the task lists coming from Organiseme will be synchronized back to Organiseme. ![]() Complete task
In case you have completed a task you can tick it off directly in Google Task - and the task will automatically completed in Organiseme as well. Just move the mouse above the task - and the circle will be turned into a hock. ![]() When clicking on the check box to complete the task then the task directly disappears. Instead at the bottom of the task list a section with the label "Complete" appears. ![]() When clicking on the "Complete" section the just completed task is displayed again as part of the completed task of this list. As stated before, also in Organiseme the task will be displayed with a checked check box - and also the task will be displayed on the bottom of the task list ![]() Initiate editing of task
In order to edit any of the task elements you need to click on the pencil icon. ![]() Then the task switches into the editing mode and the different elements of the task can be edited. ![]() Edit task description
By clicking into the task description field you can directly edit the task description. ![]() Edit or enter task note
You can edit task note by clicking into the respective field directly under the task description. In case there is no task note just click in the empty "Add details" field to enter details that will be synchronized into the task note field in Organiseme. ![]() When closing the editing mode the updated task description and task note are displayed in the task within the task list. ![]() Edit or set due date
In order to edit or set a due date you need to switch again in editing mode and then click into the due date field. ![]() Then a calendar will be displayed where the due date can be selected. There is also the option to set a time on the due date. This time will reflected in Google Calendar but is not transferred to Organiseme. Unfortunatelly the programming interface of Google is not providing the time data, and so it cannot be stored and further processed in Organiseme. ![]() After closing the calendar and then the editing mode the new due date will be displayed within the task in the task list. ![]() Move to other task list
When you want to move the task to another task list please switch again in the editing mode. There you need to click on the current task lists. A pop-up menu will appear with all task lists setup in Google Task. ![]() By selecting the other task list the task should be moved to the pop-up menu closes. In order to keep the task synchronized please move the task only to task lists that you have setup in Organiseme. ![]() After closing the editing mode the task is directly display in the newly assigned task list. ![]() Delete task
In case you want to delete a task you need to switch again in the editing mode. There you find a trash can icon on the top. When clicking on this icon the editing mode is closed and the task list is shown again - yet without the just deleted task. Shortly after the task is also disappeared in Organiseme. ![]() All changes synchronized to Organiseme
All the changes performed in Google Task on tasks that have been originally created in Organiseme are automatically synchronized back to your Organiseme account. ![]() With this you can edit, complete or delete tasks in Google Task that have been originally synchronized from Organiseme - and which are automatically synchronized to Organiseme.
